Steve has been a financial adviser since 1990, bringing nearly three decades of valuable experience to his clients. In his work, Steve enjoys looking out for his clients’ best interests by always keeping them protected, informed and educated in their financial goals. He is also a Loan Consultant and Insurance Agent. Due to his strong financial acumen, Steve brings a holistic outlook to his clients, balancing their goals with the best-suited financial products. He enjoys his work immensely, primarily because of the impact on people’s lives, and the constant ability to learn something new.

He attended the University of Maine and served in the US Navy between 1982 to 1988, while obtaining numerous recognitions for his accomplishments and conduct, including Sailor of the Year. After leaving the Navy, Steve found his true calling in the financial industry and is really enjoying the benefits of Charles Schwab Corporation as his chosen platform.

Steve has been married to his lovely wife Ann for thirty years. Together, they have five children and two grandchildren. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys sports, including football, basketball, and baseball, coaching youth sports, drumming and playing chess. He is also very involved in the community, supporting local schools, the Silverdale Food Bank, Local Chambers, and the Kitsap Builder’s Association.

Ken Lindquist brings a unique analytical perspective and 25 years of engineering experience to his clients at Copper Financial Group. Before transitioning into wealth management, Ken spent over two decades in systems engineering, where he managed large-scale technology infrastructure projects. This deep technical background taught him the importance of discipline, rigorous attention to detail, and data-driven decision-making—skills he now leverages to design thoughtful, long-term financial strategies.
 
Driven by a commitment to giving clients the strongest guidance possible, Ken works closely with the firm's founder, Stephen Coupe. Together, they offer a highly balanced approach to wealth management: Ken handles the day-to-day structure and analytical portfolio management, while leveraging Steve’s decades of macroeconomic perspective to help clients feel protected, informed, and educated at every stage of their financial journey. 
 
Born and raised in Bremerton, Ken is a proud graduate of Bremerton High School and went on to earn his BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington Business School. Guided by his Christian faith, Ken is dedicated to serving his community and clients with integrity, honesty, and strong ethical stewardship.
 
Outside of work, Ken finds inspiration in staying active and competitive. Having played Premier 1 soccer in the Kitsap area back in the day, he still enjoys getting out on the field and playing today, alongside being a passionate UW Husky and Seattle Seahawks fan, and managing the details of his long-running fantasy football league. These strategic pursuits reflect the balance, commitment, and camaraderie he strives to bring to both life and his professional partnerships.
